What is Kava?

The kava plant is a member of the pepper family native to the Pacific Islands and its root has been consumed for thousands of years. Kava holds a storied past involving use in cultural ceremonies, ancient folklore, and natural medicine. Its psychoactive properties make it an ideal alcoholic alternative to enjoy without consequence.

What ingredients are used in Mana?

Mana is proudly made with a noble kava cultivar from Vanuatu. Our kava kava is considered a heady kava which is high in the kavalactones (the psychoactive elements) called: yangonin and kavain.

Our premium noble kava is sourced from growers from the Vanuatu Islands who have sustainably cultivated kava root for thousands of years without fertilizers or pesticides.

Other ingredients include:
- Filtered water
- Honey
- Kava-kava rhizome (consiting of the dried cut roots of the Piper Methysticum plant)
- Green tea
- Tropical fruit flavor

What do Mana's effects feel like?

Mana's effects can be described as euphoric and relaxing. With each dose, the psychoactive element of kava evokes a sense of joy and connectedness to others, naturally, so you can enjoy an elevated state of relaxation without harm.

How long does it take to feel the effects? How long do the effects last?

While everyone is different, like most psychoactive drinks and edibles, it takes approximately 20-40 minutes to start feeling Mana's effects. We recommend you start with one dose and wait half an hour before deciding whether to take another.

Typically, the effects of a single dose of Mana can last 1-2 hours depending on how much is consumed and how much a person has eaten prior to consuming it.

How should Mana be consumed?

Mana is a potent relaxant with a unique and carefully crafted taste unlike anything sold on the market. We recommend mixing 1-2 ounces of Mana with 8 ounces of still or sparkling water at the start. As your palette becomes accustomed to the drink, you may prefer to reduce the amount of mixer and enjoy Mana in a more pure form.

In terms of quantity, we do not recommend having more the 5 servings of Mana in a single day.
